ImmaWin primarily uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage rather than traditional cookies. localStorage: Authentication Token — We store a JSON Web Token (JWT) under the key "immawin_token" to keep you signed in between visits. This token is essential for accessing your account and persists until you sign out or clear your browser data. Chat Read Position — We store the ID of the last message you read in each pool chat to track unread messages. This data is stored per pool and persists between visits. sessionStorage: Pool Creation State — During the pool creation process, we temporarily store your wizard progress so you can resume if you navigate away (e.g., during Stripe payment). This data is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab. Stripe Redirect Flag — A temporary flag used to restore your pool creation state after returning from Stripe checkout. Cleared immediately after use.
4. Categories of Storage
Essential (Required): Authentication tokens and session management. These are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. Without them, you cannot sign in, access your pools, or use core features. These cannot be disabled without losing access to the Platform. Functional: Chat read-position tracking and pool creation state persistence. These improve your experience but are not strictly necessary for the Platform to operate. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking technologies. We do not use cookies or browser storage to track you across other websites.
5. Third-Party Storage
When you interact with third-party services through ImmaWin, those services may set their own cookies or use browser storage: Google Sign-In — If you use Google to sign in, Google may set cookies on your device as part of the authentication process. These are governed by Google's privacy policy. Stripe — When you make an All-Star pool purchase, Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process for fraud prevention and payment processing. These are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not control these third-party cookies and recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these services.
6. Managing Browser Storage
You can control and delete browser storage through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to: view and delete specific localStorage and sessionStorage entries through developer tools, clear all site data for immawin.com through your browser's privacy or history settings, and block all storage for specific websites. Please note that clearing your authentication token will sign you out, and you will need to log in again. Clearing chat read-position data will reset your unread message indicators. 7. Do Not Track
ImmaWin does not track users across third-party websites and does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, as we do not engage in cross-site tracking. Our use of browser storage is limited to the functionality described in this policy.
